Airlines of Tasmania operates scheduled passenger services to the following locations in Tasmania:
The airline’s charter services, operating under the Par Avion branding of the company, are conducted from the airline's Cambridge Aerodrome base, located near Hobart.
Each passenger is permitted one carry-on (main) item, and one other small item (such as a handbag, coat, umbrella, laptop or suitcase). Total weight of both cabin items must not exceed 7kg.
The dimensions of the main item must not exceed the following dimensions: 48cm (width) + 34cm (height) + 23cm (depth).
The second smaller item must be non-rigid and unfolded, and the dimensions must not exceed the following dimensions: 60cm (width) + 114cm (height) + 11cm (depth). Please note that cabin baggage must be able to fit under the seat in front of you, or fit in an enclosed storage compartment above the seat. If your items do not comply with this, the item will be checked into the aircraft hold.
Each passenger is entitled to 15kg free checked baggage. This can be spread across multiple items, but no single item may exceed 32kg in weight. Any additional weight above 15kg will be charged an excess fee, and the airline may not be able to carry your excess baggage on your departing flight - it may need to be transported on the next flight.
Bulky items (maximum 2 metres), such as bicycles, surfboards, skis, or golf clubs, may be included within the 15kg allowance, but will be subject to space availability. Passengers expecting to travel with bulky items should arrive no later than 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.
Online check-in is not currently available for this airline.
All passengers must be checked in at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time, and then arrive at the departure gate no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
The airline only offers standard seating. There is ample storage under and above the seat in the storage compartments, but facilities onboard are limited. As the flight-times are short, passengers are encouraged to make the most of the services available at the airport before departure. During the flight, passengers can enjoy incredible views of the landscape below.
The airline doesn't currently have a frequent flyer program.
Par Avion/Airlines of Tasmania is not part of an airline alliance program.
