Baggage Policy
Different baggage policies apply for both checked and carry-on baggage when flying with Avianca Honduras.
Carry-on Baggage
Passengers are permitted one item of hand luggage and one free personal item. The baggage mustn't be larger than 115 cm in dimension and shouldn't weigh more than 10kg. These rules apply to passengers flying in all classes.
Checked Baggage
Passengers flying on Avianca Honduras are entitled to one free checked baggage. The hold luggage must not be heavier than 23kg or exceed 158cm overall in dimension. Any added baggage will be charged at the current excess baggage rate.
Cabin Classes
The airline mainly operates small flights and there is only one cabin class that is offered on the aircraft and that is the standard Economy class. The airline offers you amenities such as one free piece checked and carry-on of baggage, snacks, drinks and the option of choosing your seat.
Seats
Seats are positioned in a 2 x 2 placement, ensuring that each passenger will sit by either a window or an aisle.
Check-In
Avianca Honduras allows passengers to check-in for their flight either online before airport arrival or alternatively, once at the airport.
Online Check-in
Avianca Honduras passengers have the ability to check-in for their flight using our online check-in page. From there, click on the airline logo which will then transfer you to the Avianca online check-in page. You can use either your e-ticket number or your reservation code to check-in to your Avianca flight online. Web or online check-in opens 24 hours before your flight time.
Airport Check-in
Passengers flying with Avianca Honduras must arrive at the check-in counters at least three hours before the flight if flying internationally and at least one hour prior to their flight if flying domestically. The airline also permits passengers to check-in using self-service kiosks at the airport. Passengers need to simply input their details into the self-service kiosk and print their boarding pass at the airport. Passengers can check-in on all their flights using a self-service kiosk from 24 hours prior to their flight.
If flying domestically within Honduras, check-in using the self-service kiosk closes one hour before your flight departure time.
