As Eastern Australia Airlines operates under the QantasLink brand, the baggage allowance would be the same as the airline. The baggage allowance below is accurate as of June 2020.
Passengers are entitled to free baggage allowance of 14 kg in total between two carry-on bags. Each individual bag cannot exceed 10 kg.
Baggage allowance on some aircraft may be 7kg in weight. Please check your exact baggage allowance at the time of booking and on your e-ticket.
Each passenger is entitled to one 23 kg baggage for check-in. If passengers wish to purchase excess baggage, it can be done through the booking process. Contact our customer service team for any enquiries.
Eastern Australia Airlines allows passengers to check in online prior to the flight departure. The opening and closing times will depend on the method of check in you choose.
Check-in opens 24 hours before departure and it is available via the Qantas official website. Enter the booking reference and passenger's last name to start check-in.
Airport check-in counters close 30 minutes before the scheduled flight departure time. Group check-in at international airports will close 60 minutes before departure time. Please arrive at the airport early as the airline reserves the rights to deny check-in.
We recommend passengers to arrive at the airport one hour before the flight to avoid any unexpected delays.
Eastern Australia Airlines flies to many domestic Australian destinations including Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Tamworth, Whyalla and more.
